JOY! (multiplied)

Our good friends had their babies tonight. Yes, I said babies - they had twin boys! Healthy, sweet, perfect little miracles. It was so special to be there when they arrived. They came a little early so we had to stay behind the glass tonight but hopefully I'll have more pics tomorrow without the window in the way. What a wonderful way to end the day, I'm still smiling =)

Showered with love

My good friend Lindsay hosted a fabulous baby shower for another friend of ours this past weekend and I took the photos. The pictures speak for themselves - it was a beautiful party! It was truly a labor of love, she put a ton of thought into the details. If you need a party planner and want perfection, she's the one. I took a LOT of pictures so it will probably take a couple of posts to share all of my favorites.

Thank Heaven For Little Girls

Spending the evening with these four little girls was delightful ... and exhausting! My friend (mother of two of these little cuties) handled it like it was nothing. The funny thing is that with little boys you have to chase them to get a few shots, but these girls would not stop posing and just play :) I finally got them to ignore the camera for a few moments.

The Blog Has Arrived

Well, after a couple of weeks of posting pictures from recent photo shoots my new blog has arrived. It's not everything I want it to be but it will have to do for now. Photography is only a hobby at this point but the perfectionist in me still wants the perfectly designed blog and even a flashy website. There are not enough hours in the day! I hope to update this often with new pics of my friends, family, and others who will let me practice my skills on them. This 3 year-old came with a disclaimer. His mom told me I better be fast because he is always going 90 miles an hour. Well, he was fast but also seriously charming. He shared his snack with me and called me "that lady." What an adorable child! Big personality in a small and sweet package.

To be so loved

This little one belongs to a friend of mine and he is sooo loved. Not only by his parents, but his aunt Francesca who is one of my favorite people. She was behind me during every shot dancing and posing - trying to make him smile but it was really her that would have made an interesting subject. We were stuck inside this day because we had a freak cold snap but I still got a few shots despite the challenges.

Crazy in love

My brother recently got engaged and they trusted me to take their engagement photos! I was so nervous, they drove down from Tallahassee but it all turned out great. Once again, it's not hard to get good shots when the people are really attractive (and really in love)

She's a yummy mummy

My friend is pregnant with twins and I took pics at her baby shower a few weeks ago and made a photo book for her. She's due in just a couple of weeks now and I can't wait to meet her boys. Hopefully I'll get to photograph them when they are still teeny tiny. For now, here's the yummy mummy (I wish I had a british accent)
